If you know me, I LOVE the VA loan. I really feel strongly that our veterans have earned and deserve to use this loan- and it's a GREAT program.

The challenge is that not all agents or sellers feel the same way in this market, so a buyer's agent has to be a little creative.

The Parks knew that Beaverton is a very competitive market and that they could get a lot more for their money if they were flexible on location.

We found a huge home for them in Columbia City- but it wasn't quite the right fit. The house had more issues than they wanted to deal with and the location wasn't ideal.

Then they ventured back to Kevin's old stomping grounds in Carlton- an absolutely lovely little town in wine country ❤ The home is almost new with a great little yard in a really pretty neighborhood, and we ended up getting the home below list price 🙂

We ran into a few little bumps in the road, but nothing we couldn't tackle- and they closed right on time.
