Aubrey and her team was just what we were looking for!

My wife and I have been interested in buying a home for a couple years now but we were intimidated by how to even start the process, how to pick a realtor and then who to choose for a mortgage, insurance, etc.

The first thing Aubrey did to help was set up a home buying class to inform us of the process. Here we learned about everything involved that the realtor does in addition to mortgage, home insurance and escrow. We ultimately chose Aubrey because this class showed us that this team worked well together, and it eventually proved true.
A couple weeks later we started house hunting properly. Aubrey and her team made that very informative and convenient by putting together a pack of information for each house in the tour and planning the best route to take from one house to the next. At each house Aubrey pointed out immediately visible things that would be a concern and also prompted us with questions to make us really consider what we did and didn't like about the house (layout, yard, location, etc, etc)

In the first round of tours we found a house that had much of what we were looking for. After considering it, we decided to make an offer. There wasn't much competition on this house so our offer was accepted right away. When we had inspections however, a number of things came up that tipped the scale of likes vs dislikes and we retracted our offer.
That evening we were feeling pretty discouraged so we braced ourselves for a long and tedious house hunting process... However, the very next day a charming house, with a beautiful backyard and a great location for us came on the market.

We added it to our house tour for the following weekend but Aubreys admin, Emily, got back to us saying there were already offers by mid-day and that they were reviewing all offers that very night. So we were able to schedule a tour in the evening and really took a liking to the house.

Getting Aubreys advice to assemble a competitive offer on this house is one of the things I value most from working with her. The listing was a low-ball price to attract attention (it got 8 or 9 offers in total) and Aubrey helped us decide on an attractive, high offer that wasn't so high it wouldn't get funding. She also communicated with the listing agent to find out what terms the sellers were looking for so that we could really hit the target. In the end the sellers picked our offer, not because it was the highest (another party offered more in cash!) but because the terms we included with the offer.

Now we're moved in and I can't recommend Aubrey and her team / partners enough! They're very knowledgeable and have the experience it takes to do this work effectively!
