These past clients are also dear friends who were looking to upgrade from their sweet Hillsboro home. It had served them well for 5 years but it was time for them to spread out a bit more 🙂 That home sold very quickly, thankfully!
They wanted to stay in the area and had a pretty specific idea about what they wanted as far as the style of home- traditional on a cul-de-sac was the preference.
But something interesting happened in our search process. As they were giving feedback on homes, I found that they actually preferred more of a quirky and unique floorplan and ones that weren’t already totally renovated.
We switched gears to look at homes that were a little older that were in good condition but left room for some personal touches.
And we really found it! This house has it all- tons of space for entertaining, a huge kitchen and pantry, a beautiful sunroom— and an incredible yard with a greenhouse, shed, and plenty of room for recreation and relaxing.
It fit perfectly in budget, and after some negotiation on repairs, it was smooth sailing.
I can see their whole lives unfold here, with so much joy. I couldn’t be happier for them… truly.
